The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held from 31 August to 5 September in Beijing, China. Defined as a state-level, international and comprehensive fair for trade in services, the CIFTIS currently figures as the only comprehensive trading platform in the world.
Do you know what does “trade in services”mean?
Trade in services refers to the sale and delivery of an intangible product, called a service, between a producer and consumer. Trade in services that takes place between a producer and consumer that are, in legal terms, based in different countries is called International Trade in Services.
According to official statistics, the exhibition area of the 2022 CIFTIS covers more than 15,200 square meters and it focus on nine themes this time, including financial, educational, healthcare and supply chain management services, etc. 2022 CIFTIS featured over 446 Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises which had set up booths. And 71 countries, regions and international organizations joined the 2022 CIFTIS, including the 59 countries such as United Arab Emirates (UAE), Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, and the UK, as well as 12 international organizations such as the World Meteorological Organization and the UNESCO.
Books on “carbon neutrality & carbon peaking ” get popular
CIFTIS has set up a new section on environmental services, with the theme of "carbon neutrality & carbon peaking". In addition, books with this theme was selected into the list of "Good Books in China" at the 20th Beijing International Book Festival. It can be seen that China attaches great importance to climate change. And then, one question occurs, how will China deal with the issue of global climate change with the international community?
Brich Technology will organized the Sino-Europe InnoTech Forum with Service Center for Enterprise Innovation, and China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers. This theme of the forum is carbon neutrality.
