Nowadays, a research report on the standard system of smart industrial parks (2022) proposes the definition of intellectual park.
Intellectual park is to deeply integrate cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, 5G, digital twins and other new generation information technologies with the industry, integrate the park's manufacturing resources and third-party service capabilities, achieve circle level resource sharing, industrial linkage development, real-time environmental awareness, event visibility, automatic production adaptation, full time equipment utilization, community value association, and promote the extension of the industrial value chain, improve the park's intelligent management and social integration capabilities.
Like a "city", intellectual park is a complex including industrial development, technology development and academic research. All components operate in a coordinated, virtuous circle and promote each other, and ultimately stimulate the innovation vitality of enterprises and industrial market potential.
At the same time, intellectual park is also the "industrial brain" and command center in the future construction of the smart city, a base for the combination of top scientific and technological achievements and the complete chain of "production, learning and research", and a base for demonstration to local governments and large enterprises.
Types of Intellectual Parks
According to the leading industry of the park, it can be divided into software park, logistics park, chemical industry park, cultural and creative industry park, high-tech industry park, film and television industry park, medical industry park, animation industry park, etc. According to the types and functions of the main buildings in the park, it is mainly divided into production and manufacturing parks, logistics and warehousing parks, commercial parks and comprehensive parks.
China's intellectual parks have developed for a short time and are still in the early stage of development. At present, the classification of intellectual parks remains, namely, government led development zones(parks), industrial real estate led parks, large enterprise parks, small and micro parks.
